102-year-old woman is the oldest driver in the world

Margaret Dunning, a 102-year-old woman from the US is the world’s oldest driver. Margaret first got behind the wheel of a car at the age of eight, her driving license came four years after when she was 12.

Dunning has been driving for 94 years and currently owns a 1930 Packard 740. Aren’t you wondering who keeps her car maintained? She does. The awesome lady changes her own spark plugs and oil.

As a kid, Margaret used to fetch tools for her father which made her quite familiar with all sorts of appliances. She is a well-known woman within her community, having donated large amounts of money for the historical society’s museum and other charities.

Her 82-year-old Packard 720 has won several awards at the Concours D’Elegance and remains in mint condition. Dunning is not officially the world’s oldest driver, but has any of you been driving for 94 years? We doubt it.
