This can be called the ultimate testing day. Two teams and 4 drivers where testing their cars and preparing for the upcoming Spring rally. Both Motortune and Tony Germany Rally Skills were present at Arjes for an essential test ahead of the rally next saturday. Motortune featured Young and promising driver Nicolas Amiouni, while Tony Germany Rally Skills Featured three team members, Gibert Bannout with new Co Driver Cathy Derousseaux, Joseph Hindy with experienced Co-driver Ziad Chehab and Eddy Bou Karam with experienced Co-driver Joseph Kmeid.
The test took place in a village in north Lebanon called Arjes. Both teams started testing around 1:30 PM and didn’t finish before 7 PM in the afternoon.
Every driver was working on his own program and concluded the test satisfied with the outcome. Gilbert Bannout was the only one of the 3 drivers who was driving a Mitsubishi EVO 10 while all other drivers where on EVO 9.

Gilbert Bannout: “This test was all about getting used to Cathy in a rally car. We worked on the connection between both of us and on preparing the notes for Spring rally. Cathy is a very professional Co-driver and I have benefitted from her feedback and she was comfortable with the test too. I was very happy and confortable with the car”
Jospeh Hindy: “We had a test that was divided into 2 parts. The first part was all about testing the cars adaptability on high speeds and bumps, and the second part was about suspension testing. We had an unfortunate mechanical problem at the end where we lost the clutch but everything will be ready ahead of the weekend.”
Nicolas Amiouni: “We worked on the cars setup. The car was set up for gravel after the Rally Of Lebanon last year and we continued on gravel until today. We shifted to tarmac setup for the Spring rally and we feel comfortable and confident ahead of the coming weekend.”
