Chevrolet has dropped the first teaser video of its highly-anticipated seventh-generation Corvette which is set to publicly appear for the first time at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show on January 13th.
Although the teaser doesn’t reveal much, we can still recognize some of the body parts such as the front grille, hood, exterior mirror, rear fender and the centrally-mounted quad exhaust pipes. The Corvette’s new logo also makes an appearance near the end of the video.
Power for the C7 Corvette is rumored to come from a more economical yet more powerful 5.5-liter V8 replacing the current 6.2-liter unit. It will go into production in Summer 2013 as a 2014 model year.
