Sebastian Vettel looks set for another good result this weekend as he went quickest of all during the second free practice session for the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ahead of the two McLarens of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.
Hamilton in particular was a close match to Vettel, being down just 0.128 seconds on the German.
Mark Webber was fourth, followed by the two Lotuses of Romain Grosjean and Kimi Raikkonen who seem quite strong this weekend. Ferrari teammates meanwhile Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, presumably working on race pace, were down in seventh and eighth.
Pastor Maldonado continued Williams’ impressive run by going ninth fastest followed by Sergio Perez who’s departing from Sauber to McLaren next season.
