Scuderia Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa were welcomed by a huge crowd of cheering fans at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi today during the Park’s Speed Week festivities.
Alonso and Massa were received by anenergetic Ferrari parade that ushered them across the park to check out its latest attractions. The celebrated drivers experienced Viaggio in Italia where they were enthralled by the multi-sensory voyage over the breathtaking landscape of Ferrari’s home. Alonso and Massa also checked out RED, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s new theatrical spectacle celebrating Enzo Ferrari and his love for speed, style and everything Italian.
Members of Legends, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s annual pass program, got their very own “meet and greet” with Alonso and Massa. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s Legends took the opportunity to extend their warm wishes to the Scuderia legends as they prepare for the race this weekend.
“It’s amazing to feel the energy of our fans here at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi,” said Alonso. “We appreciate this great motivation ahead of the upcoming race.”
Massa said: “We really enjoyed the way the fans cheered us. There’s always a pleasant surprise for us at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and we look forward to our next visit.”
Speed Week at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi runs until November 4th, 11 am to 9 pm.
The two-time Formula One World Champion Alonso and Massa are in the UAE capital for the Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix taking place from November 2nd to 4th.
