Joey Hajj was crowned Red Bull Kart Fight Champion after defeating 15 fellow countrymen during the Kart Fight race which took place at the “Pit Stop Karting” track in Zouk Mosbeh, thus qualifying to the World Finals in Italy.
The 16 racers who participated in the event were selected during the Lebanon qualifiers that were held on October 13-31 at the “Pit Stop” track as well, and open to all karting amateurs.
It has always been a dream of Joey’s to be able to win a Karting competition and prove himself a worthy Champion. The young Lebanese’s achievement wasn’t an easy one as he worked hard for it, and received the the full support of his father and family, who were always there for him.
“I love speed races and have always dreamed of participating in international competitions. Today my dream comes true and I hope I can achieve good results and honor my country in Italy.” said Joey in a post-race interview.
Joey Hajj will represent Lebanon at the international event taking place in Bologna, Italy on December 8-9.
