Formula 1 engine sounds: V12, V10 and V8 [video]

2014 signals a new era in the Formula 1 World Championship with the introduction of new regulations, most notably a switch from the current 2.4-liter V8 engines to smaller 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 units.

Formula 1 engine manufacturers will try to maintain the famous engine note, but we doubt it will sound anything like the current V8s, without mentioning the almighty V10s and V12s of the past.
