After unveiling the car’s hybrid powertrain at the Beijing Auto Show, and its carbon fiber tub at the Paris Motor Show, Ferrari has dropped the first teaser images of its upcoming F70 supercar.
Replacing the legendary Enzo, the F70, whose name remains an unknown, will sit at Ferrari’s top of the pyramid, and will take styling cues from its lesser siblings, as the teaser images show.
It will most likely be powered by a 6.3-liter V12 engine and a Formula 1-style KERS hybrid system, which brings the supercar’s total output to more than 900 horsepower.
The Italian sports car brand will put its most powerful car to date on display for the first time during the 2013 Detroit Auto Show next month.
Ferrari’s new supercar will be facing tough competition from McLaren’s P1 and Porsche’s 918 Spyder.
