Ducati unveils 2013 MotoGP challenger

Ducati has taken the wraps off its 2013 MotoGP challenger at its annual Wrooom media event in Italy.

The satellite Pramac team, and for the first time, was also present during the launch; the squad will receive full factory machinery and support this season, with Ben Spies and Moto2 graduate Andrea Iannone forming the team’s lineup.

The new GP13 bike is very similar to the GP12 with which Ducati ended 2012, but Ducati works riders Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden admitted that the 2013 bike is still a work in progress, and that proper developments will start from Malaysia.

Ducati will try to put its poor seasons behind as the season kicks off on the Losail International Circuit in Qatar on the 7th of April.
