McLaren’s P1 Concept has made its Middle Eastern debut last week in a private viewing at the Bahrain International Circuit. The supercar, which was first shown to the public eye during the Paris Motor Show last September, is on a worldwide tour, as the company seeks prospective customers.
McLaren Automotive’s Regional Director for the Middle East & Africa, Mark Harrison commented: “It is very exciting to be debuting this breathtaking prototype, the McLaren P1, in Bahrain.”
“Our aim for the McLaren P1 is to be the most exciting, most capable, most technologically advanced and most dynamically accomplished supercar ever made.” he added.
Technical information regarding the McLaren P1 is scarce, but the British company says it is aiming for racing car-like track performance with the supercar via an array of technological advances such as a Formula 1-style DRS function.
The P1 will continue its Middle Eastern trip as it moves on to a private viewing in Dubai this week.
