Sebastien Ogier heads into the final day of the 2013 Rally Sweden with a 26-second lead over arch-rival Sebastien Loeb as day 2 came to an end with Ogier going fastest on the final stage.
Loeb managed to reduce Ogier’s lead this morning, but the Volkswagen driver responded by matching his rival’s place and eventually going quickest of all on the day’s final stage (SS14).
Ogier’s team-mate Jari-Matti Latvala meanwhile, lost third place to the Qatar M-Sport Ford of Mads Ostberg; the Norwegian is now 6.1 seconds ahead of Latvala, while also trailing Loeb by half a minute.
Evgeny Novikov held onto fifth place as Juho Hanninen dropped back from sixth to seventh after hitting a snowbank, thus promoting his Qatar M-Sport Ford team-mate Thierry Neuville to sixth.
