Abdo Feghali has taken the early Spring Rally lead by going quickest on the first special stage of the day in Nahr Ibrahim; the Lancer Evo X driver is now 38 seconds clear from second-placed Joseph Hindy.
Tamer Ghandour holds third place, just 4 seconds down on Hindy.
Robert Aaraj was quickest in the front-wheel drive category on his Clio RS, followed by Bechara Beshir.
Carl Chalhoub retired from rally following an accident.
