Joe Ghanem finished the last race in Yas Marina circuit 4th to claim the UAE GTC championship. Ghanem son of Lebanese rally legend Samir Ghanem has been very impressive since the beginning of his Motorsport career. He has been displaying impressive results in different categories and his recent victory proved that he is on the course for great things in the future.
Ghanem’s season was composed and consistant where he finished 5 out of 8 rounds on the podium winning one and finishing second 4 times on his Ginetta. He won the championship by a margin of 12 points scoring 50 at the end of the championship. His direct competitors Robert Cregan and Saad Salman finished 2nd and 3rd on 38 and 37 points respectively.
