A newcomer in the two-seat sports car market is Jaguar’s highly-attractive F-Type, and although it competes with Porsche’s Boxster, EVO Magazine recently pit it against the 911 Carrera Cabriolet.
Most of us are aware of just how good the Porsche 911 is, and it is agreed upon most auto journalists that it remains the best sports car in the world; so does the Jaguar stand a chance?
The F-Type’s 3.0-liter V6 engine puts out 375 horsepower, while the 911 Carrera’s 3.4-liter flat-six produces 345 horsepower, but the British sports car is 160 kilograms heavier.
Tiff Needell takes both cars out on a track in a quest to find out which is fastest; You can watch EVO’s Needell driving the two cars in the video right below.
