Rally Argentina 2013: Loeb leads after Ogier error

Sebastien Loeb has taken the Rally Argentina lead this morning following a mistake by Volkswagen rival Sebastien Ogier on SS7 which sent his car off track and eventually cost the Frenchman 44.5 seconds.

Ogier was running in a comfortable first place having went quickest in SS6, but the error has now put him third overall, 9 seconds behind Mikko Hirvonen who moved up to second place.

Jari-Matti Latvala maintains fourth place, he’s less than a minute behind the lead; Evgeny Novikov meanwhile is the best-placed M-Sport Ford in fifth followed by Andreas Mikkelsen in sixth.
