All-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class unveiled [Updated]

The long-awaited 2014 S-Class from Mercedes-Benz has been finally uncovered to the public eyes; the new flagship luxury sedan packs the usual technology that you would expect it to carry.

The new S-Class is visually very different from the car it replaces thanks to a fresh and more sculptural design, and now with Maybach gone, it looks even more luxurious and premium.

Inside, you get an interior cabin filled with high quality materials and upholstery; it features a road-monitoring camera system, pre-adjusting suspension to cope with changing road surfaces; customers also benefit from inflatable rear seatbelts.

The Middle East market will most likely receive two gasoline engine options, including a 3.5-liter V6 with 302 hp and an electric boost 27 hp on the S400 Hybrid, and a 4.7-liter V8 with 448 hp on the S500, which allows the car to sprint from 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.

Update: We’ve added a couple of videos of the brand spankin’ new luxury saloon right below.
