Lexus has revealed the first official photos of its all-new RC Coupe, which is set to replace the Lexus IS Coupe (only available in convertible form); the car will make its public debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.
The all-new Lexus RC will be initially introduced with two powertrain options: a 3.5-Liter V6 engine on the RC 350, and a 2.5-Liter unit on the hybrid RC 300h; power figures, however, remain an unknown.
On the outside, the RC Coupe features triangular headlamps and unique three-lamp LED design. At low beam, the lamps adopt an L-shaped pattern as an expression of the Lexus identity, the same concept applies to the sharp rear combination lamps.
The driver’s cockpit is divided into operational and display zones. The upper zone houses the instrument panel and a seven-inch navigation screen while a layered centre console integrates a new Lexus first Remote Touch Interface.
