Another spectacular season of Red Bull Car Park Drift comes to an end with the crowning of Lebanese drifter Jad Himo Middle East “King of Drift”, in a mind blowing Finale held at the Dubai World Trade Center where thousands of Arab fans gathered to watch a heated competition.
The event witnessed a fierce competition and high driving skills, making the decision hard as to electing a winner. Himo put on an exhilarating performance, thus earning the highest score assigned by the jury panel. Jordan’s Othman Al Takriti came in second position followed by Oman’s Ali Al Balushi in third position and Saudi Arabia’s Saeed Al Mouri in fourth.
The jury consisted of Red Bull athlete Abdulaziz Turki AlFaisal and Drift legends Alexandr Grinchuk “Grinya” (Ukraine) and Meang-Keun Lee (Korea). The judging process was based on the overall drifting skills as a major criterion; in addition to engine roaring and tire smoke, audience acclaim, and car appearance.
