Volkswagen’s Sebastien Ogier leads Rally Poland amid a close battle with teammate Andreas Mikkelsen, who’s now just 1.5 seconds behind in second place overall, at the end of six special stages so far.
Ogier won two of three special stages on Thursday, and despite winning just one of three in today’s morning loop, he maintained the lead. Citroen’s Mads Ostberg lies third overall, behind the two Volkswagens and followed by the third Volkswagen of Jari-Matti Latvala.
Local hero Robert Kubica rolled his Fiesta in SS2 yesterday, but managed to resume his rally, only losing 30 seconds. He’s now 9th overall, 25 seconds off the lead.
