Motortune Racing driver Roger Feghali returned to the Lebanese Hill Climb Championship in style as he not only won the third round of the 2014 season in Falougha this afternoon, but also broke the track record, clocking a 2min02.4sec on his third attempt.
Abdo Feghali looked like the man to beat, going quickest of all in the first heat (2min08sec), but his older brother and biggest competitor Roger struck back and managed to secure the fastest time in the second heat, before bettering his record in the third, but while Abdo also improved on his second run, his effort just wasn’t enough to hand him the win and decided to abort his third run. Abdo settled for second place overall.
