Rally driver Robert Consani and co-driver Maxime Vilmot continued racing despite their Peugeot 207 catching fire during the sixth round of the 2014 European Rally Championship, the Ypres Rally, a couple of months ago. According to Consani, a piece broke at the rear of the Peugeot and the car caught fire as a result. Consani stopped to extinguish the fire, but after consultation with the team, he decided to rejoin the rally. However, the Peugeot caught fire again, 500 meters before the end of the stage, but the driver decided to continue till the finish line in order to have all possible fire extinguishers.
