Unlike the 36th Rally of Lebanon last year when a great battle between Roger Feghali and Nasser Al-Attiyah was expected but the former cruised to an easy win, the 2014 edition of Rally of Lebanon promised little excitement. However, it delivered plenty of drama, whether it was in the battle for the overall lead or the battle for the front-wheel drive class. Nicolas Amiouni eventually clinched the overall victory, ahead of Rodrigue Rahi and Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, after main contenders Roger Feghali, Abdo Feghali and Eddy Abou Karam retired from the rally, while Bassel Abu Hamdan similarly benefited from trouble for his rivals to take the front-wheel drive class win.
