Saudi Arabia’s Yazeed Al Rajhi pulled a comfortable lead in the 2014 Cyprus Rally, fifth round of the 2014 Middle East Rally Championship, after winning two of Sunday morning’s three special stages.
Al Rajhi, who lost the lead yesterday following a great comeback from Poland’s Katejan Katejanowicz (pictured above), retook first position on today’s first special stage (SS10) when he went second fastest, before winning the two ensuing stages (SS11 & SS12).
With 3 more stages to go, Katejan Katejanowicz now holds second place overall and is more than 30 seconds behind the Saudi driver, while Abdulaziz Al Kuwari lies in third place overall, followed by Khalid Al Qassimi who won the opening stage today.
