March 17, 2015 – Lebanese rally driver Joseph Hindy is set to tackle the Lebanese Rally Championship season this year in a Ford Fiesta R5, but the news is yet to be officially confirmed.
Hindy, who’s 2014 appearances in the Jezzine Rally and Cedar’s Rally came in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, will upgrade to a Fiesta R5 that he reportedly bought, which would make him the third Lebanese driver after Roger Feghali and Gilbert Bannout to drive an R5-spec car on Lebanese soil.
The 2015 Lebanese Rally Championship officially kicks off on Saturday, March 28 with the 31st Spring Rally.
