BMW M4 kills the Lexus RC F on a racetrack

March 18, 2015 – In a recent track battle organized by Auto Express, the BMW M4 defeated the new Lexus RC F around a racing circuit – and by quite a gap.

The two cars are somewhat similarly matched when it comes to power figures, with the Lexus’ 5.0-liter V8 producing 467 horsepower and 527 Nm of torque, compared to the BMW’s 425 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque from its turbocharged six-cylinder engine. However, it is easy to see why the BMW’s faster around a race circuit: it weighs 200 kilograms less.
