March 23, 2015 – A super rare Porsche 959 supercar was recently crashed in Geneva, Switzerland.
According to eyewitnesses, the 959 driver was speeding in the wet when he lost traction and crashed the classic Porsche into a guardrail; the car settled on its roof after the impact. Today, an original 959 costs more than a million US dollars, so we assume it’s going to be a hefty repair bill for this owner.
Only 337 units of the Porsche 959 were produced between 1986 and 1989, and it was the fastest production car when it was first introduced, capable of reaching 317 km/h.
