April 10, 2015 – Four-time World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen has broken a new world record in collaboration with Finnish tyre manufacturer Nokian and tractor manufacturer Valtra – also from Finland.
Kankkunen drove a Valtra T234 tractor equipped with Nokian winter tyres to a speed of 130 km/h – a new Guinness World Record for the fastest speed ever recorded for tractors. The tractor is powered by a diesel engine with 250 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque.
