Tesla Model S P85D humiliates Audi R8 V10 in drag race

April 11, 2015 – We all know the Tesla Model S P85D is quite a capable sedan thanks to its 690-horsepower electric motors that also punch out 930 Nm of torque and push all four wheels.

The Model S P85D has been featured in many drag races, including one against a Lamborghini Aventador and another one against a Ferrari 458 Italia. It fell short against both Italian exotics, but not against this modified German exotic.

The modified German exotic is an Audi R8 V10 that produces 570 horsepower (it generates 525 horsepower in stock form), and, just like the Tesla, it is all-wheel drive. However, the Audi is almost 600 kilograms lighter, which theoretically should play to its advantage, but it doesn’t, and the V10-powered supercar gets a silent whooping from the all-electric family car.
