May 13, 2015 – Dodge has unveiled the street-legal, track-focused version of its Viper supercar, the Viper ACR, which will enter production near the end of the year.
The Viper ACR gets a 645-horsepower, 8.4-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine with 812 Nm of torque; it is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission. Described as the “fastest street-legal Viper track car ever”, the ACR gets a massive rear wing and a carbon fiber rear diffuser.
Additional modifications include upgraded carbon ceramic brakes, 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels and a race-tuned adjustable suspension with ten settings.
In the US, the Viper ACR will be priced from 118,000 dollars.
