2015 Rally France Final Results

October 4, 2015 – Volkswagen’s Jari-Matti Latvala secured his third win of the 2015 World Rally Championship in France this afternoon after what was a chaotic rally that witnessed the cancellation of two special stages due to poor weather conditions.

Latvala entered the third and final day of Tour De Corse with a 2-second lead over M-Sport Ford’s Elfyn Evans, but the Finn gradually extended his lead throughout Sunday to reach the finish line 43 seconds ahead of Evans.

Andreas Mikkelsen (Volkswagen) fell short of snatching second place overall from Evans, finishing third, just 3 seconds behind his rival and comfortably ahead of Citroen’s Kris Meeke.

Sebastien Ogier’s gearbox issues and his return under Rally 2 meant that he couldn’t finish in the top 10, but he earned 3 points by winning the power stage.
