Mubarak Al Hajiri leads Qatar Rally after day 1

Mubarak Al Hajiri surprisingly leads day 1 after Nasser Al Attiyah suffered some transition troubles.

Qatari Mubarak Al Hajiri leads his country’s Rally after the end of day 1. Transmission problems cost favourite and rally legend Nasser Al-Attiyah his overall lead, and made him drop to 2nd in the overall lead.Third position went for Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari; and Khalifa-Saleh fnished fourth. Qatar’s Khalid Al-Suwaidi suffered some engine woes and Kuwait’s Mubarak is out of the rally.
