December 21, 2015 – Evo Magazine tests Audi’s new R8 V10 Plus supercar against the well-established pre-facelift Porsche 911 Turbo S on a circuit to find out which one is faster.
The R8 V10 Plus, as its name suggests, hides a naturally-aspirated V10 engine that produces 610 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque that pushes all four wheels, whilst the 911 Turbo S uses a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that makes 560 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque to similarly drive all of its wheels. Moreover, the Audi’s lighter than the more expensive Porsche.
