February 14, 2016 – M-Sport Ford’s WRC 2 competitor Eyvind Brynildsen has set a new Colin’s Crest jump record through the Vargåsen stage (SS16) yesterday, Rally Sweden organizers announced.
The Norwegian flew his Ford Fiesta R5 for 45 meters, breaking the all-time record of 44 meters set by Thierry Neuville in the Hyundai i20 in 2015, and thus earning this year’s Colin’s Crest Award, which was named in honour of 1995 World Champion Colin McRae.
