April 2, 2016 – Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton secured his second consecutive pole position of the season in qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix this afternoon. Hamilton looked slower than his team-mate Nico Rosberg throughout practice but delivered a great lap at the end of qualifying, breaking the Bahrain International Circuit lap record and beating his team-mate by a tenth of a second.
