April 17, 2016 – Nico Rosberg secured his third straight victory of the season after dominating the 2016 Chinese Grand Prix from pole position, while his team-mate Lewis Hamilton, who started last, recovered to finish 7th.
Rosberg lost the lead to Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo at the start, but managed to retake the position a couple of laps later as Ricciardo picked up a puncture, while the two Ferraris clashed, with Kimi Raikkonen losing his front wing and Lewis Hamilton suffering from a similar incident as Sauber’s Felipe Nasr cut him off.

Despite damage to his front wing after the first-lap incident with his team-mate, Sebastian Vettel was able to finish second, whilst Red Bull’s Daniil Kvyat rounded out the podium.
Daniel Ricciardo he fought back to finish fourth, ahead of Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen and Williams’ Felipe Massa who finished fifth and sixth respectively, while world champion Hamilton settled for seventh.
