Citroen reveals first images and video of 2017 C3 WRC car

April 19, 2016 – Citroen kicked off testing for its all-new C3 WRC car that it will use when it returns for a full-time program in next year’s World Rally Championship season.

The French manufacturer, which is competing in the 2016 season via a part-time program with PH-Sport, revealed images and a video of a camouflaged 2017 C3 WRC being tested by factory driver Kris Meeke on a gravel course.

With the new regulations, the 2017 WRC cars will be more powerful, lighter and wider with more aerodynamic freedom, which means faster and more spectacular.

Earlier last week, Volkswagen unveiled a computer-generated image of its 2017 Polo R WRC car.
