July 9, 2016 – Lewis Hamilton secured his fifth pole position in 2016 during qualifying for the British Grand Prix this weekend, beating team-mate Nico Rosberg by three tenths of a second. The Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo will line up third and fourth, followed by Kimi Raikkonen in fifth. Sebastian Vettel will drop from 6th to 11th due to a gearbox penalty.
