The new model will come in two guises: E63 and E63 S, with the latter being more powerful as it produces 604hp and 850Nm of torque, while the standard E63 makes do with 563hp and 750Nm. Both feature a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8.
The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h can be achieved in 3.4 seconds in the E63 S and 3.5 seconds in the E63 thanks to a nine-speed Speedshift MCT automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. There is no rear-wheel drive option, but Mercedes will offer a ‘Drift Mode’ feature that redirects all of the power to the rear wheels.
You’ll be able to distinguish the E63 from the normal E-Class thanks to an array of exterior modifications, including sportier front and rear bumpers, a low-key rear spoiler, 19-inch rims (20-inch on the E63 S) and four-pipe exhaust.
