December 2, 2016 – The FIA held its latest World Motor Sport Council meeting this week in Paris, and during the meeting, the WMSC approved the provisional calendar for the 2017 FIA Middle East Rally Championship.
The calendar consists of a total of 5 rounds, starting with the Qatar International Rally in early February and ending with Iran International Rally in mid-September. Rally of Lebanon is scheduled for early September, but the event could be pushed forward to the last weekend of August.
