December 6, 2016 – In its latest video, Motor Trend answers a question that nobody has ever asked before: is a brand new Infiniti QX30 S crossover faster than an 1987 Porsche 928 S4 supercar on a race track?
Based on the Q30 hatchback, the QX30 S hides a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that punches out 211 horsepower and 350 Nm. The 29-year-old Porsche, meanwhile, has a 5.0-liter V8 that produces 320 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque.
So, can it do it? can a front-wheel drive modern crossover defeat a more powerful rear-wheel drive supercar that used to rival the Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari Testarossa? Watch the video below to find out (Skip to 6:41 for the battle).
