January 17, 2016 – Instead of resorting to the famous BMW S85 V10 engine, the owner of this BMW Z4 decided to install the V10 engine of a Dodge Viper SRT.
In reality, the 8.3-liter V10 wasn’t taken from a Viper, it was actually taken from a Dodge RAM SRT-10 truck that uses the same engine as the Viper. The engine produces 532 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque and is mated to a T-56 six-speed manual transmission.
The car was built by KERN Racing in Germany and it uses a variety of custom parts (custom headers, custom oil pan) in order to accommodate the big engine.
