February 20, 2017 – Tetsuya Yamano drove this fully-electric Honda NSX-based race car in 2016 Pikes Peak Hill Climb to reach 3rd place with a chrono of 9 minutes 06 seconds, which is nowhere near as fast as Sebastien Loeb’s 2013 record of 8 minutes 13 seconds in the Peugeot 208 T16, but still impressive for an electric vehicle. Our only complaint is the alarm siren produced by the car to signal its approach; perhaps a V10 tune would’ve been better.
