May 6, 2017 – Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah secured victory in Jordan International Rally for the 11th time after a dominant performance over the weekend. It’s his 64th MERC win since the start of 2003.
Al-Attiyah (Ford Fiesta R5) was quickest in all 18 stages of the rally and won by an incredible margin of 16 minutes over Group N class winner Marouf Abu Samra (Mitsubishi Evo IX) who became the first Jordanian since 1981 to finish second at the Jordan Rally.
Mshari Al Thefiri rounded out the top 3 by coming 3rd overall and 2nd in Group N in the Mitsubishi Evo X.
