To celebrate the 10th edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and recognise the continued support of the FIA, ATC UAE and the world’s motor sports media, Yas Marina Circuit CEO, Al Tareq Al Ameri, today presented a token of his gratitude on behalf of the organisers – a giant 10 year anniversary cake.
The cake was presented to FIA Media Delegate Matteo Bonciani in front of an audience of journalists, presenters and photographers from worldwide media outlets in a fun and informal ceremony at the Circuit’s Media Centre.
“Since the inaugural race in 2009, Yas Marina Circuit has developed and evolved year on year and it’s important for us to recognise the unwavering 100 per cent support from the sport’s governing body, the FIA, by ATC UAE and by the dedicated and hardworking members of the world’s sporting media that have been with us on our exciting journey,” said Al Tareq Al Ameri.
“This cake is a symbol of our gratitude and we look forward to many more years of cooperation and partnership.”
