The BMW M3 CS Touring combines 542bhp, 0-62mph in 3.6s, and practical performance—making it the ultimate performance wagon.
BMW has unveiled the new M3 CS Touring, a powerful, high-performance wagon that delivers 542bhp, making it the most potent variant of the M3 lineup. With a starting price of £120,600, the M3 CS Touring is a limited-edition model designed to outpace competitors like the Audi RS4 and Mercedes-AMG C63 estate.
Under the hood, the M3 CS Touring features a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine, producing 542bhp and 479lb-ft of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling remarkable acceleration. The M3 CS Touring can hit a top speed of 186mph and accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.6 seconds. It can even reach 0-124mph in 11.7 seconds, and between 50-75mph in just 2.7 seconds in fourth gear.
BMW’s engineers have fine-tuned the M3 CS Touring for enhanced performance. The turbochargers now produce more charge pressure (2.1 bar), contributing to the additional 20bhp. Stiffer engine mountings and a specially designed M exhaust system with a titanium rear silencer add to the car’s dynamic performance, with adjustable sound modes through the Sport and Sport+ settings.
Exterior design features such as red contour lines, carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) components (including the bonnet, splitter, mirror caps, and rear diffuser), and exclusive 19-inch and 20-inch forged alloy wheels give the M3 CS Touring a distinctive, aggressive look. Inside, the car features carbon fiber bucket seats, CFRP paddle shifters, and various CS badging, though it’s 15kg lighter than the regular M3 Touring at 1,850kg.
As with other M CS models, BMW’s M Drift Analyzer and Laptimer apps are included, along with a range of advanced driver assistance systems.
Although BMW hasn’t disclosed the exact production numbers, the M3 CS Touring will be a rare sight on the roads. Priced at £120,600, it’s a significant premium over the standard M3 Touring, but it offers unparalleled performance for those seeking the ultimate combination of luxury and speed in a practical wagon.
