Hennessey has taken the Ford Mustang GT and Dark Horse to the next level with the Super Venom upgrade, boosting power to an impressive 850bhp—46 more than the record-setting GTD—and 650lb-ft of torque. This power enhancement is available as an upgrade to a base GT or Dark Horse model from a Ford dealer. The upgrade features a supercharger, new injectors, and a refined induction kit, which results in quicker acceleration—3.2 seconds to 60mph for the Dark Horse, and a significant reduction in quarter-mile time.
The Dark Horse variant also comes with additional performance features, such as an active exhaust, limited-slip differential, and adaptive damping. While both models feature the same cosmetic upgrades, the Dark Horse version offers extra standard equipment compared to the GT. Hennessey has designed a new carbon-fiber aero kit, complete with an aggressive front splitter, vented bonnet, and a fixed rear wing. The package also includes lightweight 20-inch wheels and Super Venom badging.
Inside, you’ll find leather and Alcantara upholstery on Recaro seats, along with a bespoke plaque marking the vehicle’s build slot number. Only 91 units of this limited edition will be produced, in honor of Hennessey’s 1991 founding year. Prices start at $149,950 for the GT and $163,950 for the Dark Horse, reflecting the base model’s price difference.
