Verge TS Pro Sets Electric Motorcycle Distance Record

Verge Motorcycles has officially set a new Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled on an electric motorcycle using a single charge. The spotlight is on the Verge TS Pro, which covered an impressive 193 miles across London in a 16-hour ride—all on one charge.

While an average speed of 12 mph might not sound groundbreaking, it’s important to consider London’s notoriously dense traffic, frequent red lights, and ever-present pedestrians (and pigeons). Despite those urban challenges, the TS Pro still had 7% battery remaining in its 20.2kWh battery pack at the end of the ride. Had the team continued, it likely would have broken the 200-mile mark, but the test was paused to maintain the accuracy and credibility of the record.

The Verge TS Pro isn’t just about efficiency. This hubless electric motorcycle features a rear-mounted 137bhp motor, delivering a massive 738 lb-ft of torque. That power propels the TS Pro from 0–62 mph in just 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 124 mph—figures that rival high-performance electric cars.

Verge’s innovative design and performance credentials make the TS Pro more than just a city cruiser. It’s a statement in the growing electric motorcycle market. With a starting price of £31,980, it doesn’t come cheap, but for riders seeking cutting-edge tech, record-setting range, and head-turning style, it might just be worth it.
