RTR Bronco Fun-Runner LT Packs Monster V-8 Power

RTR’s 2025 Bronco Fun-Runner LT Unleashes 7.3L V-8 Power

The 2025 RTR Ford Bronco Fun-Runner LT redefines off-road performance with a jaw-dropping 7.3-liter “Godzilla” V-8 under the hood—no frame modifications required. Developed by off-road legends Loren Healy and Vaughn Gittin Jr., this beast proves that big-block power can fit into the sixth-generation Bronco without compromise.

Previously, Ford claimed a V-8 wouldn’t fit, but RTR discovered the Godzilla engine—narrower than the Coyote 5.0—slots in cleanly. Delivering 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, this pushrod V-8 brings instant grunt, perfect for desert runs and rock crawling. Paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and custom Borla exhaust, the Fun-Runner LT sounds as aggressive as it looks.

Underneath, Fox Performance Elite coilovers and bypass shocks provide 18 inches of wheel travel, while portal axles and RCV components boost ground clearance without sacrificing independent suspension. Massive 42-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires wrap 20-inch beadlock wheels, aided by a full hydraulic steering conversion from PSC.

The Fun-Runner LT also features a fully custom composite body, enhanced bumpers, rock sliders, and integrated Rigid LED lighting. Inside, Recaro off-road seats, four Optima Orangetop batteries, and onboard air from ARB deliver utility and comfort in equal measure.

Though currently a one-off showpiece revealed at Moab’s Easter Jeep Safari, RTR has opened orders for custom builds. However, this is not a street-legal vehicle—it’s a purpose-built off-road monster for serious enthusiasts only. If you’re seeking the ultimate V-8-powered Bronco experience, the Fun-Runner LT is your go-anywhere, do-anything dream machine.
