From the desert heat of the UAE to the high-speed corners of Latvia — Ihab Abou Falah made his debut on one of Europe’s fastest and most dangerous drift tracks: Bikernieki Circuit in Riga.
Riga Debut: All or Nothing
For the first time ever, Ihab took on the legendary Riga track in the FIA Intercontinental Drifting Cup (FIA IDC). Known for its unforgiving layout and insane speed, Bikernieki allows no room for error.
“Full throttle, no mistakes allowed,” Ihab said.
Despite the high stakes, Ihab gave it everything — pushing the limits and locking in 65.5 points, placing 28th out of 46 top international drivers.
Proudly Representing Lebanon
This wasn’t just a personal milestone — it was a proud moment for Lebanon. Ihab flew the Lebanese flag high in a fiercely competitive field, showcasing the skill, heart, and passion that defines the region’s motorsport scene.
Teamwork Makes It Possible
Success on track is never a solo effort. Ihab made sure to thank the people who made the journey possible:
- Autofix team – his rock-solid support crew
- Ziad from ZK Motorsport – tuner and friend, who flew in from the UAE to back Ihab on-site
- Drift Darbnica (Latvia) – the local legends who handled service, setup, and on-track parts
- 59 North Wheels – sponsor and supplier of the killer rims that completed the perfect drift setup
“This journey wouldn’t be possible without all of you,” Ihab said.
What’s Next?
With Riga checked off the list, the journey is far from over. Ihab Abou Falah is just getting started, and the world of drifting better be ready.
