After a decent qualifying result for BMW Team Schubert where car number 19 qualified in 15th place and car number 20 qualified in 8th place, the team prepared well overnight for the race and they feel confident that they can go all the way. The cars were well examined and tuned to take the grid at 5PM today and the drivers cant wait to turn on the engines. 
Although everything seems perfect the team was subject to a big set back, with the withdrawal of car number 19 driver Jorge Muller. Injury has forced Jörg Müller (DE) to pull out of the race. His rib injury, which he sustained in a crash during last weekend’s ADAC GT Masters race at Spa-Francorchamps (BE), proved to be too painful so leaving him no option but to pull out of the race. As a replacement, Claudia Hürtgen (DE) has been named as the fourth driver of the number 19 BMW Z4 GT3. Therefore, she will see action in both BMW Team Schubert cars.
